Getting Started with B2B CRM
Master data and demo data
Before you start working in SimpleOne B2B CRM, import the master data using data import. You can also optionally install the demo data. Find detailed information about this process in B2B CRM Application and Demo Data Deployment.
Products
Before the start of the work, add the Products (crm_product) of your company to select them on the Lead, Opportunity and other forms.
The Product table is inherited from the Configuration Item (sys_cmdb_ci) table of the SimpleOne platform.
To configure a product, complete the steps below:
- Navigate to CRM → Settings → Products.
- Click New, specify product name and status.
- Click Save or Save and exit to apply the changes.
Role Model
Learn about the application roles and the access granted by them.
Sales Directions
Sales direction is an organizational structure used for the grouping of the employees depending on their field of activity. An employee's sales direction is automatically added to the corresponding field on the forms Leads, Opportunities, Customer Companies, Content.
Partner Portals
Create partner portals for each sales direction for the partner company employees to register opportunities and track them.
Configure Opportunities
Use options for the configuration of opportunities in your system: create new stages or edit the existing ones, add task chains.
Configure SharePoint
The B2B CRM application is intended to be used together with MS SharePoint for storing the documents and content. This allows for the creation of folders in MS SharePoint from the B2B CRM application.
