Employee Profile

Roles required:

  • Read – any employee with access to the agent interface.
  • Update – hrm_agent.

Agent interface users can view information about their colleagues in the Employee (employee) table as well as edit it if they have special roles. To do this, complete the following steps:

  1. In the agent interface, navigate to OrganizationEmployees and open the required employee's record.
  2. In the burger menu in the top-left corner of the form, go to ViewHRMS.

Employee form fields in the HRMS view

In contrast to other Employee form views, the HRMS view has the following differences.

Additional fields on the General tab:

Fields with different logic:

GeneralJob titleNSpecify the job title of the employee. You can specify only the job titles from the Job Title (hrm_job_title) table.
GeneralManagerNSpecify the user who is the direct manager of the employee. If the Immediate unit field is completed, you can specify only the manager who is the head of the specified unit.
OrganizationImmediate unitYThe field is mandatory in the HRMS view. Specify the immediate unit where the employee works. If the Manager field is completed, you can specify only the Immediate unit whose head is the specified manager.
OrganizationUnitNThe field is not involved in the HRMS application processes and can be ignored whether it is empty or filled in.

The following tabs are characteristic of HRMS:

  • Skills – the list contains the skills associated with the employee.
  • Employment History – the list contains the records of updates in the employee profile.
  • Employment Changes – the list contains the records of updates in the employee career path.
  • Form Instances by Employee – the list contains the form instances sent to the employee for completion.
  • Form Instances on Employee – the list contains the form instances with questions about the current employee that were sent for completion to other employees.

Employee profile widgets


The employee profile consists of three widgets:

  • Employee information
  • Work group
  • Career

The data in the first two widgets and in the Specialization field of the Career widget is taken from the Employee (employee) table and is read-only. Each user can edit the list of their Skills in the Career widget. The list of all skills is available in the Skills (hrm_skills) table.
