Document Template Tags

HRMS allows you to create document templates with tags used to fill in the final document with the values of model attributes or table columns.

The information on tags is stored in the Template Tag (hrm_template_tag) table.

tip

Roles required:

  • Create – hrm_manager, admin.
  • Read – hrm_agent, hrm_supervisor, admin.
  • Edit – hrm_manager, admin.
  • Delete – users with the hrm_manager role can delete only the tag records they created; users with the admin role can delete any tag records.

Create a tag​

You can create a tag on the document template form. For more information, see the Document Template with Tags article.

The created tags are displayed in the Template Design Hints section message in the template records whose form contains the Tag list section message widget.
