Employee Profile

Employee profile on the portal

The portal users with access to the Organizational structure of the company can view the information about their colleagues on the Employee profile page. The profile contains contact details and general information about the employee.

Roles required:

  • Read – portal users with access to the Organizational Structure section.
  • Edit employee skills – the employee specified in the profile, hrm_agent.

To open an employee profile, complete the following steps:

  1. On the portal, navigate to Main pageOrganizational structure.
  2. Enter the employee first and second name in the search field or find them manually in the tree structure.
  3. Click the employee name to open their profile.

Employee profile in the agent interface

The agent users can view the information about their colleagues in the Employee (employee) table. Apart from contact details and general information about the employee, you can see additional data in the following related lists:

  • Skills – the list contains skills associated with the employee.
  • Employee History – the list contains records of updates in the employee career path.
  • Form Instances by Employee – the list contains form instances sent to the employee for completion.
  • Form Instances on Employee – the list contains form instances with questions about the current employee that were sent for completion to other employees.

Employee profile widgets


The employee profile consists of three widgets:

  • Employee information.
  • Work group.
  • Career.

The data in the first two widgets and in the Specialization field of the Career widget is taken from the Employee (employee) table and is read-only. Each user can edit the list of their Skills in the Career widget. The list of all skills is available in the Skills (hrm_skills) table.
