This release includes updates to the logic of one of the fields on the Asset Contract form, along with several fixes to improve the overall user experience.

Improvements​

Category Field in the Asset Contract Form​

In this release, we have improved the behavior of the Asset Contract form.

In the previous version of ITAM, the Contract category reference field (inherited from the Simple Application) was hidden and replaced with the Category choice field introduced in the same application. This change was made to accommodate platform updates in version 1.25.0. In this release, the ITAM logic has been updated to ensure it functions independently of future platform changes related to this field.

Fixes​

DEF0020621: In the previous version, an extra technical tab titled Related Lists appeared in the Related List area of the Asset (itam_asset) form. This tab displayed two related list records for the Asset and Change of stock tables. The unnecessary tab has been removed.

DEF0018712: We fixed some UI issues and improved interface text on the Asset Registration task form. Specifically, we updated the Postpone reason field and the Postpone asset registration modal window to make option names consistent.

Additionally, we resolved an issue in the Asset Registration and Inventory tasks where the Subject field did not update when the Stock field was modified. The Subject field now is updated correctly when the Stock values change.
