Demonstration data for the ITAM application is delivered upon request.
caution
Before deploying demonstration data, ensure that:
- The ITAM version 1.5.0 is installed on your instance.
- No demonstration data for ITAM version 1.4.0 and lower exists on your instance.
Deploying demodata
- In the Admin settings, select Simple in the Application field.
- Import the [SA]_1_22_0_demo.sop file with the demo data for the Simple application.
- In the Admin settings select ITAM in the Application field.
- Import the [ITAM]_1_5_0_demo_ru.sop file with the demo data for the ITAM application.
- Import the [ITAM]_1_5_0_demo_ru.json file with the demo data for the ITAM application.
- Navigate to System Settings → Server scripts.
- Open the script record [ITAM] Demo data creation script (/record/sys_schedule_script/175093942912341681).
- Click Run to initiate demonstration assets creation. The process will be launched in the background.
- When the server script execution is over, the record [ITAM] Demo Data Creation Script - [FINISHED] appears in the Main Log (sys_log). Then you can start working with the demonstration data of the ITAM application.

Note that after the demo assets have been created using the [ITAM] Demo Data Creation Script server script, the system will continue to index the created assets and configuration items for full-text searching in the background for an additional 1.5 hours.
If the import is successful, the data described below will appear on your instance.

Demonstration data (ITAM entities)
- 22 asset nomenclatures, three of them are inactive, the others are active.
- 12 asset stocks
- 103 documents
- 18 asset contracts
- 100 asets that have the Company field empty and are in the Storage stage, Pending verification state. These assets have been created upon the simulation of the process of discovering and creating the configuration items whose models are associated with the nomenclatures requiring association with CIs.
- 8610 assets for the "ООО "Лучшая компания" company in different stages and states (the assets are created after the execution of the server script). They include single assets, spare parts and consignments, stationary and non-stationary assets that you can add to any of the 12 ITAM task types at once without any specific preparation due to their specific preset stage and state combinations.
- 4305 assets belonging to the "ООО "Лучшая Компания №2" company, in different stages and states (the assets are created after the execution of the server script). Some assets are under warranty and covered by a valid warranty service contract.
