ITSM Application Deployment

Role required: admin.

To deploy the ITSM application, complete the following steps:

1. Install the ITSM application.
2. (optional) Deploy the demo data.

To install the ITSM application for the first time, use the full version pack. To update the application from the previous versions, use the update packages.

Deploy full version

warning

Before you deploy the ITSM version 1.18.0, ensure you have the 1.28.0 or later version of the platform installed.

1. Install the [ITSM] 1.18.0 full.sop full application package.
2. For the change request template approval to work correctly, update the Approval for participants notification rule. Complete the following steps:
   1. Navigate to System Notification → Notification Rules.
   2. Find and open the Approval for participants record.
   3. On the When to send tab, click Filter.
   4. In the modal window that opens, click AND next to Add new criteria.
   5. Fill in the new criterion fields as follows: Item does not contain 0234a7d0b0179b25.
   6. Close the modal window and click Save or Save and exit to apply the changes.

Install updates

To update the ITSM application from the 1.17.0 version to the 1.18.0 version, install the [ITSM] 1.18.0.sop application package.
